@bentossell yeah similar to them :).
We are working a lot to simplify the interface and make it easy for non-programmers these days. Usually people who do not have technical background do not have any idea about setting up webhook and all that, there is a video right when they login to walk them through the whole process. But yeah still a lot of work needs to be done.
@bentossell we are working on that drag and drop concept Ben. It's hard (on mobile) for lot's of reasons, we'll see how it goes. But I hunted this because a) it's cool! & b) I think the market for easy to construct bots (like Botsify here) for product and brand managers that do not have dev. teams (or are not developers themselves) is a really awesome thing. Much like Squarespace, Wix, etc. I don't believe bot creation should be the exclusive realm of developers. Even though it may mean a proliferation of crappy bots, it will be good in the end. Like the app store, the best ones will surface and we'll find all sorts of new creations in that. I really like what you're doing here @Usama! Congrats on launch. Looks great.
@bentossell We just launched the beta of a drag-and-drop bot builder, no coding skills required, but if you know how to code you can insert your own JavaScript 😎
It's pretty simple to use, you can have your bot live in just a minute.
The beta is public, try it out: https://talkbot.io
Hi Product Hunters!
This is Usama, founder of Botsify.
I am very happy to make it on Product Hunt today. We started Botsify 3 weeks ago. We certainly are one of the first helping people to make awesome chatbots for facebook messenger without any coding knowledge. I would love to hear about your feedback on the product.
Three weeks down we have helped over 60+ people make their chatbots, and the number is growing rapidly. We are working on some really cool features like "Editing chatbot responses, tokenized searching, marketing, analytics and a package for WordPress chatbot". So you will be able to start right away with one click for your WordPress chatbot using WP-Rest.
In case of any feedback I would love to hear from you guys. Let me know what's more important to improve the product at this point. Here is my email address (usama@botsify.com)
@usamanoman the quote from Zuck on your page doesn't really make sense does it?
"WE THINK YOU SHOULD MESSAGE A BUSINESS JUST THE WAY YOU WOULD MESSAGE A BUSINESS."
Maybe you should update this? I feel like there's a typo. 🤒
the support is non existent, I have problems with my paid contact, no response. I created a user here since I am sure that would get their attention faster than their support chat.
It is 22 days ago, still no reply. I can't even log on and they are charging from my bank account. I have no way of communication with the owners. It should be illegal...
@stuticlicks Hi Stuti, I have used Chatfuel. We both are pretty much the same. I believe our competition is going to be on performance now on. They have got some big names under the belt too and have done a great work no-doubt.
You might want to run a grammar / spell check on your site: "With over a billion user you can now double you conversions with messenger chatbot." --> "With over a billion users you can now double your conversions with messenger chatbots."
I'm checking out the bot now. There some new marketing bot out name Bullet Response but I think this is much better. I wonder can I send a mass message to all the users of my page.
@usamanoman
Hi Usama,
Love the vision. I think that one day very soon, bot making will be 'drag and drop'. Just got asked a question about making bots on Quora and included you guys in the answer: https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-...
Hey, how do I test my messenger, since it first should be published to run, but in order to publish it, I have to have some kind of screencast. From where should I record it, if it still can't run in messenger.
The chatbot turns into a full page view if a user clicks on the widget. This allows them to see our products clearly and stay focused on the conversation. Very useful addition to the platform!
I would recommend using Botisfy to all non-technicals, as it's made as user-friendly as possible. You become a self-taught chatbot maker with its easy user interface. Good work guys!
