Love the clean design Matt. Would be cool to see, mockup of how the event is announced on the day of.
Is it like a cal reminder like UI or a celebration? or some action oriented UI to send a message etc.
@designsingh thanks Preet! Currently the announcement on the day is via push notification, after the day it's moved into your previous events so you can also see how many days since all your previous events. We have plans to make a lot more of the day itself in a future release!
I haven't read through everyone's comments, so this may have been asked about already... But it would be cool to have this as a widget when you pull down on iOS 10. Maybe a list view similar to how the "Battery" widget is...
@itsjonhowell You're the first to mention it 😄 Extensions are something I'm focusing on right now with the notification center widget almost complete along with an iOS 10 keyboard app. Watch app will be coming in the next few months!

I’m Matt, the co-creator of Days - a beautiful and simple way - we hope! - of counting down to the events that matter most to you.
After unsuccessfully searching for an app to count down to moving into my first house, only coming across complex and buggy solutions, we attempted to create one that would stand out for not only the way it looked, but also its ease of use. One that we’d want to use.

@treeba Really nice design. Just a quick heads up to let you know there's a tiny bug on the main logo on the site when watched on a smartphone. Looks like the container is a square with a second bg inside. No idea what's going on :)
@treeba Really loving the app! To be perfect, I think you should have the option to show the events in a widget. That would be awesome :)
@philricelle thank you! Extensions are my focus with Days right now, working on both a today widget and an iOS10 keyboard extension! Watch extension will be soon after 😆 really glad you're enjoying it!

@treeba love the app; it's now my go-to dashboard for deadlines. I would love to see a calendar view, or at least more context when selecting the due date. The MM/DD/Year format is limiting since I need to refer to day of week. What about adding Custom categories— i.e. School, Family, etc.?
@danielj1122 glad you like Days! Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely consider what you suggested. Custom categories are in the short term roadmap. For the days of week, what's your use case? Is it a recurring event that happens weekly?
@treeba thanks for the response! A better way to convey my earlier thought. I'm seeking a deadline dashboard that I can customize how I visualize my deadlines. The events on Days are large in size, which is useful. But what if you have ALL of your events listed. Then a user must scroll to view everything. And then what if you have multiple events with the same due date. Each event takes up a lot of space but has repeated info. So maybe a Summary tab that shows "Event A, Event B, and Event C are due in 5 days," or similar. Especially useful when planning ahead to know a summary of what's to come.
@treeba please read my suggestions as, "I like your design, and I want more of it in different flavors."
@danielj1122 thanks for the feedback, I do see what you mean. I think a summary for events on the same day would be a really good idea. I'll see if I can find a way to add some of your suggestions to the roadmap! Thanks again!

Would be nice if the system status bar showed. Also be cool if you could adjust the thumbnail in the list.
