Great Resignation! Hybrid! Meeting in person!! We interviewed 350 leaders at top tech companies to learn about the state of work in 2022. Read about future trends, leadership challenges, the gender gap, expert tips, and more.
@surayashivji This was actually a graph we had to omit because the results were inconclusive! I can say from personal experience that small teams have a bit more pressure, but it does seem like each of these growth stage companies have their own unique challenges.
Hi! I'm Corine, author of this year's report:)
2022 has been full of surprises. COVID-19 is in its terrible twos. Teams flew across the world to meet up for the first time face-to-face. And there’s that whole thing with Twitter.
We took a step back to take a snapshot of the Future of Work. We interviewed 350 remote leaders at 175 of the best tech companies. As always, we didn’t hold back:
You’ll get answers to:
👀 What long-term remote strategy is most popular?
👩🏻💻 What’s the gender gap in tech leadership?
🥲 What’s the hardest part of leading remote teams?
🔥 What’s the state of burnout and who’s in trouble?
✅ What should companies prioritize during The Great Resignation?
But that’s not all! You’ll also get 11 pages of expert management tips and major discounts from our friends at Doist, Oyster, Evolution, Hypercontext, and Workplaceless, to name a few.
Our team at Kona had a blast creating this report. Download all 31-pages for FREE and share it far and wide. Let us know what you think in the comments. Thanks!
Cheers,
Corine
Excellent report - amped to dive into this, the highlights alone are so fascinating ("In 2020, over 16% of companies planned to return to the office full-time. This shrunk to 6.6% in 2022" 🤯).
Looks brilliant @itscorine! We're a _largely_ remote company, that still has significant office footprint. We're working hard to appeal to remote workers, support those who are in the office, and make hybrid work effective for the times we need it.
Have only looked at the first few pages so far - but already, your point about two different types of managers rings true! Some managers who relied on face-to-face to ensure hardwork/motivation are really struggling now...
@nik_hazell Thanks so much for sharing, it's definitely not an easy problem to solve. I'm super excited to hear how the trends we discovered help. If you're interested in chatting further, feel free to reach out: corine@heykona.com
