@kjosephabraham Hi Joseph! Thank you for your kind words!
The story is quite fun - me and my friends engaged in a 100 day long habit contract. One of the things we've agreed on was working out 5 days per week. We used to send images as a proof in our group chat daily and we had a lot of enjoyment doing so! That said, I felt like doing it on messanger is quite lame, so decided to create an app fully dedicated to this kind of interaction:)
Hey @jakob_kirchner,
Habicy sounds like a fantastic tool for anyone looking to build better habits with a strong social element! I love the idea of combining habit tracking with a supportive community—it's such a powerful motivator. The ability to connect with friends and share achievements really sets this apart from other habit trackers. Plus, incorporating principles from "Atomic Habits" ensures that the approach is grounded in effective strategies.
The focus on mindfulness and personal development is a great touch, making it versatile for different goals. I'm excited to see how the New Year’s challenges can help people maintain their resolutions beyond just January. The fun aspect with animations and social interactions makes it feel more like a community rather than just another app.
Looking forward to giving it a try and seeing how it can help me and my friends stay on track. Great work! 🎉
This Habicy sounds great! I'm curious about what measures it takes for data privacy? @jakob_kirchner Have you thought about introducing more social challenge features?
@lxfater Hi, thanks a lot! When it comes to the privacy you can set your habits to public or private for full control. About more social challenges - it's the next thing on my roadmap so stay tuned!
Congrats on the launch! 🚀 Habicy's approach to habit tracking with a social twist is a great way to keep users motivated and accountable. Excited to see how it helps people build lasting habits together!
I recommend Habicy for those who want to effectively track their habits and share progress with friends. Habicy helps make this process fun and social by bringing people together with common goals.
A habit tracker that adds a social twist is such a cool idea! It makes building routines way more fun and engaging. I love that it’s inspired by Atomic Habits too. How does Habicy motivate users to stay consistent over the long term?
@jackielinecosares this is something I'm still exploring, but there are two main factors. One is the gratification: by interacting with your friends, engaging with fun animations and streaks, you are more likely to stay motivated. The second one is the (positive) social pressure - since you update your friends on your progress, they are more likely to be in your corner when you fall off and help you to get back on track 🙌🏻
Love that it’s based on Atomic Habits, focusing on incremental changes for long-term success. Sharing your small wins with friends is also a great idea to remain consistent.
Congrats on the launch 🚀 I love that this has a great blend of individual tracking and social support. Sharing is caring :) If you could introduce a unique feature that encourages users to celebrate small wins together, what would that look like, and how do you think it would impact motivation?
@winston_appsallset Thanks so much! Great idea, what do you think about adding a "Milestone Celebration" feature where users can celebrate small wins with badges, shoutouts and more? 🎉
Congrats to the Habicy team on the launch! This habit tracker sounds like a fantastic way to build lasting routines while staying motivated with friends—can't wait to see how it helps users achieve their personal growth goals!
