Super happy to be able to quickly turn core web apps I use, which aren't yet supported by Station, into their own MacOS apps! Time tracking, project planning + invoicing stays open all day, everyday, now it can just live as it's own app on my dock. Win.
It's very straight forward. Takes the load of my browser. Very helpful with frequently used webapps. Now I don't have to keep the tab in my chrome open every time.
For each desktop app you're downloading the same bulk of identical base files.
You could also use Chrome's built-in desktop 'app' functionality (still eating memory 🙄) and make use of the chrome base that's already on your OS.
I was surprised to know how easy it is to make a desktop app for my web product.

Just creates an Electron app.
No chrome extensions.
Loved it - I've been thinking of making a native app for my SaaS product's web dashboard, but have been too lazy :) Web2Desk is perfect for me!
