I have been trying out lowcode/nocode solutions for quite some time now, and being based in Europe, Backendless stood out for their support for GDPR legislation, but also their outstanding support community and direct involvement in communicating with that community.
While there are other alternatives that are more front-end heavy, the solid and thought-through scaleability and robustness of the backend should make this a choice for many a developer who don’t want or need to maintain their own backend. Plus - the nearness to the metal makes this almost unbeatable when it comes to customization!
After doing trials, we are now on the cusp of releasing our first app using the platform, and will heartily recommend it to others as well! :)
