I was very excited about the Burrow couch when it was arriving my door. However after assembly and sitting on it, I am kinda disappointed.
First, the quality:
The quality is missing my expectation. I had a VERY HARD time screwing one crouch leg into the crouch. The thread on the nut isn't clean cut, and the screw doesn't fit in. I have to use tools and a lot of strength to basically re-make the nut, and then be able to screw in the leg.
Besides, the button of the crouch is full of pin staples to stick the fiber to the crouch body, it's very messy feels very cheap.
On the feel side, it's a bit too stiff and doesn't have enough depth to let you sit cross-leg on the sofa.
The cables and usb jack also feels very cheap and low quality, I am concerned about whether this thing would actually cause fire.
In the end of the day, I feel it's all just marketing game, the real sofa is far from ideal.
I ordered a Burrow couch, and it was short 5 thumbscrews, which are necessary to put the legs on (and use) the couch. I contacted Burrow on Saturday (10/20). They told me they could not expedite the shipping for the five thumbscrews. I received the package today (10/26), and it contains only 1 thumbscrew. Again, they cannot expedite shipping, and will not be able to place the order with the manufacturer until Monday. I could have purchased an equally priced, just as nice couch elsewhere and been able to fully use it by now. I do not recommend.
