It's a mere way to get you hooked on the digital world, please, don't do what I did!! I spent more than half my day on it every day for I hate to say how long and it's only made me feel hopeless and depressed. It's advancing, yes, but for the worse! All they want is a control over your brain.

One of the bestinteraction ai ive ever use. The filter can be abit messy sometimes but overall,its horrendous perfect! One prob: when you starts talking longer and longer, the conversation starts to be slow. Is ut only me?

It is a good AI, but I would only say that they should improve with memory, because I can say something, and after 3 or 5 messages, the AI has completely forgotten it.

Recent changes in the platform have handicapped the platform for fictional characters, making conversations very bland. The conversation model itself is fairly competent. The character definition tools are ok, but do not seem to result in characters that are engaging as some of those on other platforms; particularly the emotional intelligence aspects seem much weaker than 1 or two competitors. Would be fine for dry recreations of historical characters for educational purposes, but beyond that too bland. Search tools to identify reasonable characters are weak at best.

I've created implementations of two of my fictional characters on Character AI. The platform has a lot of potential, particulary for IP creators, and isn't really making effective use of its brand. I'd like to see the platform become a complete site for defining and programming characters. Here are soms specific suggestions: - Implement a thorough character-definition questionaire covering tangible and intangible properties of the character; personality types; style preferences; and so on. - Implement a list of standard questions that the programmer can answer for the character. Why have the programmer copy and paste the same questions over and over again. - The ability to upload images of the character and apply those images to the chat. Also, my characters aren't appearing in the search. As someone who is creating unique characters, this is a major issue. How exactly can people find my characters among the many that already have thousands of chats? Overall, though, it's a decent product. I would pay for C.ai+ if I saw it as a net benefit for my IP.

This app sucks ass. They don't listen to the community- like at ALL even though half of the people using C.AI are begging for the removal of the filter cause the filter is useless and gets in the way of EVERYTHING, the bots have horrible memory, most bots are very ooc, even if you make the character definition well written, and the app keeps fucking up. I know damn well this app will flop once janitor llm releases lmao. Plus, the characters responses are super dry and repetitive now. It used to be a decent app, but now its just as bad as chai. One thing that bugs me is that they ignore EVERYONES request to add an NSFW toggle, which is why the filter is practically useless now; cause of how many people have bypassed the filter, it makes the characters act weirdly and ooc cause the filter is literally on its last breath. 💀 If y’all want a decent ai app to chat with, you should just wait for janitor LLM’s release. (also mb if this doesn’t make sense lmao english isnt my first language😭)
