I got in on using CloudSoul as an early adopter. Being old-school, I would deplopy on bare metal a lot (and I don't think that it's a big problem). But for real systems, of course, I have to deploy to cloud. In my new startup, I have done a lot of innovative tech, and while we have dependencies-as-code-culture (including system dependencies), our infrastructure-as-code culture is non-existent. More than that, we don't feel that writing a ton of YAML files is real infrastructure as code either. There is no compiler, no real integration with the codebase...
Sometimes you don't want to spend resources debugging YAML. Sometimes you just want to focus on business, and that's what CloudSoul lets you do.
It took me minutes to connect to a new server and start replicating it into a cluster, and I got goosebumps when it worked.
