I bought my first Ekster, a Parliament, off the crowdfunding campaign a year ago, and it was just amazing. When the cart-ejection trigger stopped functioning, Ekster gave me a credit to purchase a new one (thank you!)!
My next one is a brown Senate wallet and I actually prefer this one. I swapped out Ekster's rechargeable tracker for a Tile Slim tracker (which I prefer for the smaller size and no need to charge), and it fits all of the same things in a smaller package. If you're deciding which one to get, I recommend the Senate with no tracker (buy a tile slim instead, and keep it under the band on top of your bills).
My suggestions to Ekster would be to increase the width slightly, because the current width doesn't hold more than a couple of bills flat. Keep improving the durability of the card release trigger. If a bluetooth tracker could be built into the wallet for a slimmer design, I would buy that. Same with an option for over cards in the main compartment.
Thank you for the excellent product and great customer service!
I’ve had my Parliament wallet for a little over a year. It has worked flawlessly the entire time. The small size and ease of access to cards made this a great edc wallet for me. As an added bonus Ekster's customer service has been absolutely outstanding.
I've had mine for almost a year now - will definitely be upgrading to the 3.0!
I'm sure many of you are familiar with the infamous Volterman Smart Wallet campaign.... I fell for that scam and started doing my research.
After a year of waiting for my Volterman, without success, I decided to order an Ekster Smart Wallet from their website. It was literally delivered to my doorstep the next day. Feedback so far:
- Great card trigger system: keeps it slim and functional
- The leather is outstanding, nice aging effect
- The tracker has this solar-powered feature so you never have to plug it in, super convenient
No complaints so far and I just ordered the early bird Tracker card for 29 bucks!
How can you have a wallet in this day and age that isn't attached to your phone?
Since switching to a phone wallet my life has changed, and when I saw this this "smart" wallet I thought WOW what a cool and nifty product. Then I swiftly realized that Its not a phone wallet and I was sick to my stomach. Just the worst. Come out with a phone wallet and I will give you my updoops
