The information superhighway was evolving into our homes as slow as dial up or waiting for a fax. We navigated from here to there using a Thomas Guide. Some of us were heading to the library to conduct research using microfilm to edit with white out. Home phones with extra long cords, Sunday morning newspaper deliveries and unbiased journslism were not yet fake. MySpace, Nspster and iTunes were new and enough.
Suddenly Suddenly everyone was a farmer. We were ulling weeds, planting seeds and building to seek relief. The information superhighway became the internet. And Facebook changed everything. Because it accomplished something we didn't yet know was possible. We connected with old friends, far away family and had the courage to post quotes that secretly gave away secrets that usually remained behind closed doors.
Facrbook will always have a soft spot in my heart for bringing people together again.
