I have been using this product to plan my novel and it's got the most amazing functionality for that exact purpose. I love the modularity of all the sections, you can drag and drop sheets of writing to where you need it, and you get an eagle eye view of the whole project. I've just started writing using First Draft too and it's great being able to see my planning scroll past as I'm busy writing that section. 10/10 would highly recommend for writers!

I started using first draft for completing my short story collection. It's easy to navigate and use. Unlike google docs, it gives you quick access to specific parts of your work through the chapter and scene tabs, which come preinstalled. Still feeling my way around but so far so awesome!
