Inkscape is a free and open-source vector graphics editor used to create vector images, primarily in Scalable Vector Graphics format. Other formats can be imported and exported.
Inkscape can render primitive vector shapes and text.
Inkscape was invaluable for crafting the SelfieStory logo and a few of the app's custom icons. As a graphic designer, this powerful and intuitive tool is my go-to for creating precise SVGs that bring designs to life.
InkScape is one of the best open-source graphics editors - holding its own against Adobe Illustrator. It also has an some really unique plugins. One of my favorites is InkStitch which adds powerful design and export functions for embroidery patterns.
