I would reward them negative stars if I could. The site is relatively easy to create but the customer service is nonexistent. They require prior approval to add custom coding like a countdown and even at times a google map. The problem is the approval almost never happens. When I contacted them a year ago on some other issues, the response times was abysmal. These days, when I simply ask them to approve a code they don't even answer. It's been at least a month of no responses. I have never received such a lack of response from a business. They simply do not care. This, mind you, is the level of service for the premium package which I purchased (I don't have the free version; they no longer offer free versions). Imagine upgrading the price but not the service. I will cancel as soon as I am able.
The owner of Velocity Music, Astedroid has been using this platform to create a stunning website for us. So here are some pros and cons!
β¨ Pros:
1. Compared to its competitors, you can do from fully customizable link-in-bio sites, to launching a full site, without any additional cost.
2. Making beautiful sites in seconds is true. The free-forever-plan (and no hidden costs!) includes a vast selection of pre-made designs that you just add a new section and choose the one you want.
3. Also has vast selection of "blocks" to add. Embedding a YouTube-video, adding additional buttons (no limits!!), custom spacing between elements, and much more. Its also easy to sell memberships and products! Also with the recent Koji-integration, you can add even more fun to your site using Koji's apps!
π Cons:
1. To achieve such designs, it unfortunatelly requires a little bit more: self made assets to upload as images, and overall, little tinkering around and thinking outside the box.
2. All tools are easy to use, but at times has bugs here and there. But as far what you can do for free, is unimaginable.
3. Custom, and custom code embeds are included in pro only. If you wished to include a custom embed (that isn't included in desginated embeds, you cannot. The tweet embed is limited to one static tweet, not showing your full timeline.
Things to be improved or added:
- Full twitter timeline embed
- Instagram post grid
- Css element blur to elements you want (Eg. Buttons, header...)
- Options to choose, which section is an header and which a footer.
- Make a header sticky and change its design and properties.
- Customizable hamburger menu
