How do users interact with this feature, and what inspired you to incorporate stamps into the platform?
We are using stamps as in-app "currency" to initiate communication with another user -- every time you want to send a lettre, depending on the "distance" it has to travel, you need to assign a certain number of stamps (could be one or two or three).
Each stamp is tradeable and giftable, so if you send the lettre and stamps to another user on the app, they get ownership of the stamps and can either store them in their collection or reuse the stamps you sent them. This way, you only have to make a purchase on the stamp store (coming soon) if you want to support an artist, not necessarily for communication.
We wanted to incorporate artists into the platform in a meaningful way, and we're all gamers who have spent ungodly amounts of time and effort (and money) on CSGO and Rocket League and World of Warcraft, so we wanted to bring in a digital collectible aspect to it as well. Lettre should be a platform for digital artists as much as people wanting to write, doodle, do whatever they want with a blank canvas. And stamps are on theme!
Congrats on the launch, I think it's a fun, intriguing, and valuable idea to restore some of the joys of a different form of communication and perhaps introduce new generations to a form of communication they may never really utilize. I also like your plans for introducing an option for sending physical letters. Given people may no longer have the supplies needed to produce and mail a letter, it might be a nice option for some.

The only problem I see is that I don't have iPad. Are you planning to expand to other devices?
Congratulations on the product launch. There’s something very organic and charming about being able to craft a letter myself and set it to my friends. I tried it already with some of my peers and almost all of em got incredibly happy. Also the UI looks very charming, although it still needs to add some functionalities like being able to drop images and more options for selecting paper type would be nice. Kudos to the developers and I would very much like to see where they can take this app from here.
As a student living abroad, this app changed everything for me. For the first year, she would cry over phone while talking to me but after I started sending her handwritten letters, she stopped crying over and over again and started replying to my letters. Her time passes and I get the satisfaction of seeing her happy. This exchange of love and affection now means a lot to me. Thanks to lettre.app for making it possible.

I gave 5 stars because I believe it can have a great potential however I am unable to use the app as it won’t allow me to login. I have never had this issue with any other app. It won’t let me log in via email nor apple. Every time I try, an error window pops up. And sometimes there is a bug where it will appear as if I was actually logged but it just glitches. I write this here as I don’t know where else to ask for help, I really want to use this app but it just seems impossible:(
