The idea itself is useful. But I wouldn't trade away my privacy and my sanity at the workplace (spam private messages from slaask about slaask and other products such as producthunt) just to use it.
I was a paying customer of slaask for over 3 years. We used it a lot in our agency to communicate with our customers. Basic chat functionality works fine. But if you are trying out other functions you will find a lot of bugs. Some smaller, some are bigger. I always reported bugs like the connection of our calendar with slaask. About 5 months later this bug is still there and this feature was not working for us. Since here everything was ok. But then we wanted to cancel our account. After 5 weeks, multiple times of contacting support and receipts still coming in, they finally managed it to cancel our account. I wrote with 5+ different people on their support chat who promised me to forward my request to the "management" and that i will get a quick response from them. Nothing happened! Only after legal actions has been threatened from our side there was finally some movement. Our account was canceled a few minutes later and we received a refund for the last bill. So to wrap this up: The product itself is cool if you can live with a view bugs here and there and only want to use the basic features. Support is an impudence.
