I’m not big fan of Early access, that was widely promoted by Steam. This app is just it. It is more or less proof of concept. The USP is the way you add tasks — you click on tiles. You end up with the very same basic list of todo’s offered by tons of other apps. And some of them do that fairly better. There are ways to make waves in this category, but this is not it (at least with current state). Novelty of adding tasks wears of quickly, and becomes cumbersome within a day. There are no unique features, like delegation, position based alerts, cal or email integration, AI... anything really.
But you sure can already buy fairly expensive lifetime licence and pay for features that might not ever see the light of the day. Todoist needed years and team of people to make solid app — and this is solo dev that is more likely to crumble than succeeded. I personally feel, that this thing wont be around in a year, considering the todo app space saturation, willingness of android people to pay and lack of solid plan besides promises.
Good luck nevertheless, I’d love to be proven wrong.
Really an interesting concept when it comes to setting reminders. Reminders never has too many variables and so makes sense.
A breath of fresh air in the todo apps category with its ingenious ui! congrats Paul!
