Hello everyone
I am a freelancer in the field of audio production.
I mostly work alone, but sometimes I involve other specialists. Therefore, we have a small team.
Pros
An automatic timer, it tracks open programs by itself. You need to specify which of them "work" programs and that's it. This is important to me, because in the "it's needed yesterday" mode, and we often have this mode, I forget to turn on the timer. Plus, Trackabi itself reminds you of a tracker that is not running
Convenient control panel. Staff, teams, clients, reports – everything is in place. There is also Insights, which shows which programs you have been using in and for how long.
An interesting idea with achievements.
Very good support, they respond quite quickly and really help.
Developers continue to support the program, release updates and fixes.
Cons
There is no way to set a price for different tasks in the project. In my case, the most frequent tasks are noise cleaning, sound design and final sound mixing. These tasks are different and do not cost the same. So I would like to assign different rates for different tasks, and not just for the project. For me it is main downside of an app.
Just don't laugh, the price. Dont get me wrong, is one of the most affordable programs on the market, but dollar exchange rate in my country is quite high. And the average salary is about $ 600. But with promo codes, the price drops significantly, which makes the program quite affordable.
Absence of other languages, especially Russian. This is not a big problem for me, but for some of my teammates it was an obstacle to using Trackabi. Invoices also need to be translated into Russian. I understand that Russian speakers are not the target audience
In general, Trackabi is a very good program, I went through many different options until I stopped at it. It has almost all the functions that I need and there are no unnecessary ones. Project management, team management, evaluation of the time spent on the project and much more. If you don't need big harvesters like Jira or Harvest, try it, fortunately there is a trial =)
Thank you!
