I use ScreenPal just about everyday to make educational videos and marketing content. It is incredibly easy to learn and use, with a highly intuitive user interface. You can do so much with their screen recording and editing tools. Such a great little app!

Really enjoy this beautiful small Chrome extension to record videos, which enables and boosts my async working with other people. The auto upload to my Google Drive or YouTube if I want is amazing.

Screenflow is pretty simple to learn and has some decent features, but is a little clunky and crashed too often.

Course went through several reviews. Its not bad per say but they used to combine disjointed chapters from different teachers together which had no connection. These days the FE Path is polished and much much better but it is still far from mastery and getting there given the focus is on projects (and projects do not guarantee hiring). I eventually cancelled because I didn't see much progression in my skills of building a full-stack app but that is mostly because its focused on careers.

Been using Berrycast for a few months now. It's mostly saving me time and headaches that often come with unclear comms. My main use cases: - Client updates: I record myself & screen over my client notes or shared docs to really explain what I mean and what the next steps are - Project management: I record myself & screen over project management tools like Jira or Notion, as well as over mockups or staging environments. Then I send feedback vids to devs or designers working on the project - Social media updates: I record myself & screen over project updates, new content, or whatever I need to share. Then I share both a text post as well as a Berrycast — I found engagement to be higher when doing so, plus you get the "views" on your Berrycast recording, another interesting metric for reach Overall, if I had to give one constructive feedback point, it'd be to polish the UI/UX a tiny bit, but it's not problematic or deal-breaking for me. Just trying to be helpful here. The team's support thus far has been responsive and helpful as well, so that's good! It's also much cheaper than other products out there, if that's a pain point you have with alternative solutions ✌️
