What is Zapier used for?

Zapier is a tool that is used to automate repetitive tasks between two or more apps. According to Zapier's Quickstart Guide, the following can be automated with Zapier:

1. Tasks you have to do frequently (ex. Sending weekly reminders to your team)
2. Anything where you have to move information from one app to another ( ex. Adding tasks from a project management app into your personal to do list)
3. Tasks that don't require much thinking (ex. Copying the emails of event attendees to a spreadsheet)
