It happened because they focused most of their time on grunt work. Prowriting is here to help the UX team work faster, better, and more efficiently by leveraging A.I. to automate the work (terms alignment, style alignment,...

One of the key things that will be different from designing a mobile app / B2C product is how we are going to make repetitive tasks easier (can utilize keyboard shortcut or interaction shortcut).

I don't think it can replace designers fully as it still requires humans to give directions. But I do foresee the job will change, UX'ers will move to the more strategic jobs instead of pushing pixels/crafting copies.

That really depends on what stage the startup is in. If it's a super early stage, then the founders may do the design by themselves. Seemed daunting, but now there are a lot of AI tools to help us on design.
Do founders outsource design too, or do they just do it themselves?

Creativity is definitely not, but job opportunities may be yes.
AI still requires humans to define directions. It's like being the director of your film, instead of you working on everything alone, just set directions and AI will make it happen for you.

Leader inspires with vision, to make that we walk in this together, that our works are for a greater purpose and we own it together. Always telling why and making sure you understand the rationale of a task/direction they give.

If you just connect to GPT and that's it, then yes, because there's no moat and it's a soon-to-be saturated market.
Still in this space, I don't think there's a winner yet. The key here is to understand the value your startup is giving, clear moat (apply strong prompt engineering to connect with the LLM), and execute it very well.
Too risky to build things in Generative AI right now?

@angela_dickinson designers will move their focus to strategic tasks and gathering user input rather than doing grunt work. If you see iron man how Tony Stark works with Jarvis/Friday, then that's my thinking on how it will evolve :)
It's about us as designers giving intention/what we want and the A.I. will finish the job and make it awesome.
