Depends. On an article, I'd give feedback written. It's a habit from university and collaborating on long articles. With anything that is more visual I'd do audio (screenrecording).

Love that my inbox is now free of emails. If I would send the newsletters to a different email I know I wouldn't read them. This works perfectly for me.

Sticky studio is a super simple collaborative whiteboard. I'm planning to use it with my students next year as they'll not get distracted by other features (it was a nightmare with Mural).

What does success look like? Why am I doing this? Why? What do I tell my kids? Is it aligned with my values? What do I want to learn from this?

Do you feel like you are learning more in the classroom or are you actually learning more? I could imagine that the presence of others makes you pay attention more and therefore you learn more. At home, you have to rely on yourself to pay attention. I have been teaching online since 2010 and I'm biased towards elearning.

Great point. Without pay, you automatically exclude certain people from applying. Also, make a learning plan or add some structure so that they can say later more than just "I gained experience", but have something to show.

I have been using this for more than a year. Great for staying on task or co-working with others. I also used it with my kids during lock-down to balance study and gaming time. It was less effective with them as they changed work time to 10 minutes and break time to 30 minutes :-)

I research personal and team networks (I mean the scientific field based on graph theory, not social media). In most cases, you should develop an open network. How open will depend on your field (In social science everything depends on some thing). Riskiness of ideas and how difficult it is to explain something to others plays also a role.

Anyone ideas how the humanities will help society? Maybe those fields should be given way more funding than they get now...

Schools and universities will finally use learning science when designing their programs (and EdTech will be based on learning science and not just empty engagement metrics)
