Happy to be here again! Hello PH
Once again huge thank you to @benln, our hunter, for believing in our vision at Permit.io
You've probably seen access-sharing components (Request to edit a document, view a widget in a dashboard, submit a wire transfer for approval) a million times before.
We kept seeing our customers building these experiences over and over on top of our API.
This is why we...

Hi everyone,
Permit.io is finally on PH 🤩
Huge thank you to @benln, our hunter, for taking the time and believing in Permit.io
Every application requires managing permissions, and complexity is constantly on the rise. Working on previous ventures, I found myself constantly rebuilding permissions from scratch. That's why @asafchn and I decided to make everyone’s life a whole lot easier and...

Never build permissions again
Every application requires managing permissions, and complexity is constantly on the rise. Permit.io provides permissions as a service (ReBAC, Policy as Code, APIs, and customer-facing UI), so developers can check this as done and focus on their core product.

It's about time training engineers would focus on actual work, and not just plain vanilla computer science concepts.
I'm excited about what Wilco would mean for future developers and their onboarding to roles and technologies.
And we're excited at Permit.io to be amongst the first quest creators.

Love it. Internal tooling always feels like too much friction to get good ROI on it, this can bring balance.
The permission model seems impressive for a first launch. Any plans to add dynamic roles and/or permissions? How about ABAC?
Have you considered OPA, OPAL (opal.ac), Zanzibar, Permit.io, and or other permission services?

Awesome! Makes total sense.
With CI/CD becoming the critical channel, and all the burden R&D cycles puts on it, it is super hard to manage it and make sure all that we need goes through in time and under the right standards. We've actually implemented something like this internally. But this seems much deeper, with better control, and built-in policies we need but haven't thought of. Can't...
