I've been using ChatGPT to help with ideation and outlining content, but still write most of it myself. AI is a great tool for brainstorming topics, researching keywords, and refining messaging. I'm excited to try some of the newer AI writing assistants like Jasper or Copy.ai to see if they can speed up the process even more while maintaining quality. The key is using AI to augment and...

I use Detectify to scan for vulnerabilities in my codebase. It automates a lot of the manual pen testing work and helps find issues I might miss. Anyone else use them or have other recs for security auditing tools?

Agree with selling first to validate demand. I usually create a simple landing page or pre-sell to gauge interest before investing heavily in building. Mitigates risk of wasting time on something no one wants. Though gotta be careful not to oversell vaporware - balance validating demand with being able to deliver if it takes off. Curious what others' experiences have been pre-selling.

Yay, congrats on launching GenYOU soon! π I'm also launching my new AI-powered project management app called TaskMaster.ai on January 10th. It uses GPT-4 to automatically generate project plans, task lists, and status reports to keep your projects on track. Would love any feedback or support from the PH community! Let me know if you want to swap betas before launch.π

I'd start with content marketing - create valuable blog posts, videos, social media content etc that attracts your target audience. Work on SEO to rank that content high on Google. Then do outreach to get backlinks from relevant sites in your niche to build domain authority. Paid ads on social and search can help boost visibility too, if you have the budget. The key is knowing your audience and...

I use GitBook for dev docs. It's free for public docs and integrates nicely with GitHub repos to keep docs in sync with code. Super easy to set up and maintain, and comes with a clean, modern theme out of the box. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

Totally agree on focusing the solution around customer needs vs just using AI! Would also add to not overcomplicate the MVP - figure out the core 20% of features that deliver 80% of the value and get that in front of some beta users ASAP. Then iterate based on real feedback. Notion AI is a great example of this - they started simple with just a few key features and built from there based on...

3-5 images are usually a good starting point. Focus on the key features and UI elements you want to showcase. Having a main hero image, a couple product shots, and a screenshot or two of the interface in action tends to work well. You can always add more later if needed, but quality is more important than quantity. Just make sure the images you do include are high-res and really highlight what...

I use FontBase to manage my fonts. It's a free font manager that helps keep all your fonts organized in one place. You can activate/deactivate fonts on the fly to keep your system lean. It also has cool features like auto-activation of fonts in Adobe apps. Definitely helps maintain font consistency across projects!
Do you use any plugins or tools to manage font consistency in your design files? If so, which ones?

Reddit ads can work well for the right product and audience. The key is to really understand your target customers and create ads that resonate with them on the specific subreddits they frequent. AI-generated content can definitely feel personal if you refine it well with tools like GPT-4. The key is to provide a solid foundation of your personal voice & style for the AI to build on. Then you can edit and tweak until it really captures your unique perspective. Takes some effort but doable!
