It would be nice to hear from someone who has done both a weekday and weekend launch, so we can hear from them what the difference is in terms of competitiveness, visibility, etc.

I haven't but that could work for some. On the weekend, the competition is less intense, so one might rank high with just a hundred votes or even less.

I've considered it due to my lifestyle of not being able to contribute an entire weekday to the launch of my product. The risk is way less visibility on the weekends though.

@amit_doda yea I think with PH specifically you'd really need to somehow shift user behaviour - just way less activity on the app altogether on the weekends.

@scottlabsai that makes total sense. It’s a whole day / night affair. I guess it depends on your goal for the day. Is it to win - or to get optimal visibility.
