IMO, it doesn't matter if the design is created by AI or an actual human, the validation process would be the same. For most products, a design is good when the users say so and the best "cheap" way to validate it with users is through prototypes. Shameless plug: I'm building Visily, a tool that empower non-designers to quickly create beautiful UI wireframes and prototypes. Visily happens to apply a lot of AI to make this possible, e.g. you can generate editable designs from hand-drawings or even app screenshots.

Hey Elif! What do you mean by validating your AI-powered designs?

I think the validation should be done by the end user who is human!!

Interesting 🧐 I've never thought we could use AI to validate design. ChatGPT can surely suggest ideas for my design, but to validate, I think it should based on our own expertise since design is not text-based.

I never fully rely on Ai anything, it's mostly just methods to unblock the process for me. I use every ai program as a rough draft or brainstorm tool more than a tool to finalize a project.

Whether it's AI powered designs or man made design, the best way I prefer is to get it validated by target audience.

When you are in the online field, you must use different tools for different purposes. I use AI tools to make the best content for my website. https://animalnbirds.com/

Hey elif, I personally don't rely on specific tools to validate AI-powered designs. What I'd recommend is building a prototype and giving it to your target users, then observe them when they use it. This should help you learn something and improve your design accordingly.

This might be tricky.. would you ask a human to validate that or another machine to validate it?

When designing AI-powered designs, it's crucial to ensure that they meet the needs and expectations of our users. To achieve this, one of the most effective ways is to ask for feedback from a small group of users. By soliciting feedback from users, we can gain valuable insights into how they perceive and interact with our designs. We can learn about what works well, what needs improvement, and what features or functionalities are missing. Based on this feedback, we can iterate and refine our designs to better meet the needs of our users. Regularly seeking feedback from a small group of users is an excellent way to validate AI-powered designs and ensure they meet user needs and expectations. It allows for a more collaborative and user-centered design process, which can lead to higher user satisfaction and engagement with the final product.
