I use Zoom instead Google Meet because Zoom understands what I want need. Just one example - when I share my screen with Zoom it allows me to see video of conference members. This is amazing because I want to stay visually connected to them. Google doesn't allow me to do it the same way.
btw here I shared some tips that I stick to using Zoom

Currently, we use Zoom (premium) for long-distance meetings and Zoho Cliq for internal meetings.
The Zoom app is easy to use and almost everyone knows about it. So it's much easier to refer it potential client meetings or other long-distance business meetings.
For internal meetings, Cliq is our choice as we use Zoho Cliq for our all-out communication tool throughout the office. We tried tools from Microsoft and Glip. They are good too, but we all seem to be more comfortable in using Cliq over the years.
@sultan_royal Never heard for Zoho Cliq, but will give it a try. We also use Zoom for all external meetings (meetings with people outside our department, external partners, etc). For our own team of 5 co-workers, we are currently using Closer (work-closer.com) and we find it useful so far! P.S. We are a remote team.
@sultan_royal @tadej_jevsevar And for a planning meeting, do you use a Google or Microsoft Calendar? If yes, why do you combine two tools? Why don't you use Google Meet or MS teams?
@sultan_royal @ondrej_valustik For planning meeting (daily stand-ups, reviews) we use Closer now. We find it useful because we don't spend time on scheduling a call, sending over invites, etc, we just start a conversation whenever we are ready. But we do use still Google Calendar for all external meetings and calls. And we still use Slack for all written communication (but less than before).

@tadej_jevsevar @ondrej_valustik We actually are trying out Calendly for calendar which can be synced with Google Calendar.
The reason we do not use Google Meet or MS Teams is because we kind of use Zoho as an all out platform. Since we follow the Sprint methodology for project management, Zoho Sprint is really good for that. For business mail, we use Zoho mail, and for docs & drive, we use Zoho as well. So it pretty much serves as a single provider for everything.
We did try MS Teams once but our team felt it is not as user friendly as Zoho, so switched back.
We use Google Meet, the most convenient platform for online meetings. Only one link to go.
@mahak We also use Google Meet :-) And do you collect feedback from meetings? With my friends, we are creating a simple tool for that. It may be useful to you :-) Check out here: https://www.producthunt.com/upco...
@ondrej_valustik ok, I will check it out. Can you tell me what technology stack you use to make such type of extensions?
For meeting, I currently use Google meeting cause i can create a link from Google calender, record, etc.
In retrospective meeting, i use Retrotool. It’s free!
@vinnie_tran I also use a Google Meet - it's very reliable and easy to use :-) For the retrospective meeting, I also use a free tool - https://www.parabol.co/
Btw. Me and my friends creating a simple tool that converts feedback from meetings into actionable insights - Meetback. It may be useful to you :-) You can subscribe here: https://www.producthunt.com/upco...
