gm legends and welcome back to the Leaderboard, the newsletter where we break down the products you might want to pay attention to. In today's issue: A tool for ultra fast writing, a recording studio for your presentations, an always on AI agent for your life, and our interview with Replit CEO, Amjad Masad. Let's dive in.
FlowDrafter: Write faster by not editing as you go
FlowDrafter is brilliant in its simplicity—no logins, no passwords, just open a tab and start writing. But the real magic is how it blurs out your previous thoughts as soon as you hit Enter. I didn’t realize how much time I waste rereading and editing until it forced me to stop, and suddenly, I could focus entirely on getting my ideas down. Even using it as a one-off exercise is fascinating—it’s like watching your own thought process unfold without interruptions. Honestly, this feature deserves to be everywhere—imagine it in email or document editors as a toggle. Game-changer.
Rally: Recording studio for product presentations
I love Screen Studio and Tella, they're great for product demos. However they aren't always the best for B2B product walk throughs or business updates. That's why I find Rally intriguing. They don't try to do it all, like Canva but instead focus on a specific use case - video for business and teams. It has nice features like follow cursor and zoom with simple editing that makes producing product updates, presentations, or even SaaS demos really nice.
DryMerge: AI Agents that work for you 24/7
DryMerge lets you create AI agents that connect to your apps and automate tasks. You describe a process in natural language (e.g. add invoices to an Excel sheet), and it will create an agent to run the task 24/7 in the background. This definitely feels like the right direction for agents; not one-size-fits-all, but tailored to automate away the specific drudgery that a given team has to deal with. Strategically, though, I wonder how DryMerge is thinking about fending off the threat of a frontier company like OpenAI swooping in and building out this kind of functionality internally…
"Now you can create software for n=1. I think that’s a really profound new thing." — Replit CEO Amjad Masad
This past October, Product Hunt Head of Content Sanjana Friedman sat down with Replit CEO Amjad Masad at Replit’s office in Foster City to discuss Replit Agent — an AI system that can create and deploy web applications given natural language prompts — the "personal software revolution," and AGI and its implications for society at large.
