Heres' a confession: I have a note-taking-apps addiction problem. Another one: I used the Evernote Pro account for many-many years. One day, I woke up to see my dearest app transformed into a bulky, glitchy and huge pile of unnecessary features. The migration to Notion still haunts me at night. I'll never forgive them. That said, when I tested this app I was so impressed I could not believe my eyes. Was it really possible that someone, finally, got it right? Is Voicenotes the Second Coming of "the perfect note-taking app"? We'll see. By now, I'm already a "Believer".
Fantastic tool, a great roadmap. really easy to use. I had to become a believer as the tool is too good not to have a lifetime sub! Thanks for making something that will genuinely save me (and my team once they see it) hours.
I have a couple of voice to note apps and use them differently.
Voicenotes has the ability to question your notes and that has led me to use it for journaling, capturing fleeting thoughts, track ideas and things in my life. You can create summaries , main points, to do lists etc from one note or several which is great when you've captured your thoughts or meetings on different days.
It looks nice and works smoothly. I'm finding it so useful.
Voicenotes is an innovative new app that is transforming the way we capture and organize our thoughts and ideas. By combining the convenience of voice recording with the power of artificial intelligence, Voicenotes makes it incredibly easy to take notes on the go and then search and repurpose that information later.
The core functionality is simple yet powerful. You record voice notes through the app, which then automatically transcribes the audio into searchable text using advanced speech recognition. This allows you to quickly capture ideas, reminders, and important information using just your voice, without having to stop and type.
But Voicenotes goes beyond just transcription. The real magic happens after your voice notes are saved. The app uses AI to analyze the content of your notes, allowing you to ask questions and get instant answers about things you've said in the past. It's like having a personal AI assistant that remembers everything for you.
For example, if you mentioned a great restaurant you tried while traveling in a voice note months ago, you could simply ask Voicenotes "What was that restaurant I liked in Rome?" and it would surface the relevant voice note with the answer. This makes it incredibly easy to find and reference key information without digging through old notes.
Another powerful feature is the ability to automatically repurpose voice notes into other formats. Voicenotes can generate summaries, to-do lists, blog post drafts, and more based on the content of your voice notes. This saves a huge amount of time and makes it easy to action the ideas you capture.
The app offers both a free plan with core features and a paid subscription with advanced capabilities like unlimited recording. It has a clean, intuitive interface and will soon be available on iOS and Android in addition to the web.
But overall, Voicenotes is a game-changer for anyone who wants to capture and leverage their ideas more effectively. It takes the friction out of note-taking by making it as easy as speaking out loud. And the AI-powered features for surfacing and repurposing content feel truly magical.
If you're an entrepreneur, writer, student, or anyone else who could benefit from an AI-enhanced "second brain", Voicenotes is absolutely worth checking out. The free plan is robust enough to get a full sense of the experience. Once you start using it, it quickly becomes an essential tool for remembering and actioning all your best ideas.
Absolutely one of the best AI+Voice apps out there. I use it multiple times a day and everyday. So helpful already. Excited for what is to come as the team improves.
It's great, but nothing that ChatGPT app couldn't do, its just a more thoughtful wrapper. I'm not going to upgrade for 50 USD, with speculation that once Apple equips Siri with an on device LLM, this will become irrelevant! Just my take, good implementation overall. How can it be improved? Allow users to create categorizations, like to-do, thought stash, and so on. Also, the ability to convert any response line to a checkbox can give it a level up.
I wonder if you've tried the product at all. Voicenotes is a journalling app, not a chatbot. ChatGPT is not for audio journalling, and doesn't keep the full context of your notes in memory (that you've taken over months/years), let alone help with answers. Please re-consider the review.
