What I did was use a tool like SEM rush to see who my competitors are targeting: Key Words, Ad copy, etc., and went from there. No need to make your own mistakes if you can learn from others.

If you want to build a community I would say Discord or Reddit. Reddit can have people stumble across you which is cool. product hunt is great, but I don't think many signups will come from it, but its a great networking tool.

Well… I doubt any seller would send a product— paying for shipping at the very least— to a buyer with out upfront payment. Unless it was a larger brand or box store. So it would essentially eliminate dropshipping and mom and pop manufacturers from competition

This also helps you determine where to price your product— what the market decides is a good deal for your product or service and you can set the price there.
